I never got around posting a picture, tribute or poem about Dylan today. I actually never really thought of it, that it’s his birthday and all. Maybe because it doesn’t matter, or maybe because he’s such a big and obvious part of my life nowadays that it doesn’t matter if it’s May 24th, or the 9th of October.
And if an artist has that big of an impact on me and my life then he absolutely deserves a thank you and happy birthday, even though he’ll never read this.
With that said I think I’ll salute him by listening to his best song, Changing of the guards.
Such a masterpiece.
I saw Bob Dylan on the peace & love festival last week, and surprisingly enough it was GOOD! His crooked crow-voice really suited well with songs like Ballad of a thin man.
Great concert, great man.
During the Rolling thunder revue. I’m so fucking pissed off at youtube for removing every Dylan clip there is.
